NOBRA has new tracks from her forthcoming album on her MySpace for your pre-enjoyment. She sounds like Jo Brand doing a Lou Reed impersonation on Super Subway Comedian, but it's pretty enjoyable and I'm sure the cool kids who aren't over her yet (are there any left?) will lap it up. The aptly named 'Minger' is a fairly interesting Pussycat Dolls/Avril Lavigne-esque tale of boyfriend stealing. However NoBra sounds more like Miss Haversham drawling her way through the monotonous lyrics. I might not make it obvious, but i really enjoyed both tracks. I worry that means I'm a wanker.

people really fucking hate the Grateful Dead. 

listen to this song, listen to it again, and listen to it again. if you're over 25 you don't have much chance of changing your opinions on the dead (and i doubt you'd wanna) but if you have some kind of youthful trust in musicians and a dreamy nature then imagine you're at some filthy dead head gathering covered in mud loved up on drugs about to do some grody hippie. if this is your idea of hell i apologize and suggest you try WAVES instead who are really fucking cool and not in anyway linked to a fat psycho called Jerry Garcia.

I have decided i hate journalists. I hate music mags in general and fashion mags are becoming more and more dull and passe and trendy mags are basically just a pastiche of themselves. As much effort is put in they're still always covering things that you're already aware of or are likely to be over by the time the next issue emerges. Listen to music, find it for yourself, don't just read long boring wank describing the fucking sound when you could be enjoying it for yourself.
