DROP-OUT

I spent the past week at home and had a strange weekend. Now I'm back in London-ish, and trying to catch up on all the stuff I've ignored for the past few days. I like escaping life and just turning off my phone and disappearing sometimes, and sometimes you just have to. My Mother is always telling me to avoid stress 'for my health' but I swear if my life was any more relaxed it would be horizontal.

Musically I have just purchased the new Blank Dogs EP and am about to consume it. I suggest you do the same, friends. It's available from Rough Trade and if you talk to the cute brunette behind the counter she will profess that she loves it as much as I.

Other than that my BIG NEWS is that I TOUCHED BRODY DALLE'S KNOCKER at the Spinerette gig @ Islington Academy. It was an awesome gig apart from the French idiots who stood at the front of the gig and refused to fucking move, dance, or show any signs of enjoyment. Urgh how very french of them. It was a good show and they were very competent musically. Brody seemed to enjoy herself and her crowd jump was pretty funny, everyone just kind of grabbed a piece (hence my contact with her breast). She looks mega sexy with a little extra weight on her too. My 13 year old self was pretty much in total awe standing so close to her.

That's my round up. I'm sure i'll be back with more musical tidbits once I'm used to having the net again and have lost my distrust of it.
